गूगल मीट ने एक नया फीचर रोल आउट शुरू करना शुरू किया है, जो डेस्कटॉप यूजर्स को वीडियो कॉल के दौरान अपना बैकग्राउंड चेंज करने की सुविधा देता है। प्लेटफॉर्म ने डिफॉल्ट इमेज का एक सेट पेश किया है जिन्हें वीडियो कॉलर बैकग्राउंड इमेज के तौर पर सेट कर सकते हैं।

इसमें ऑफिस स्पेस, लैंडस्केप और एब्सट्रैक्ट बैकड्राप शामिल हैं। गूगल, यूजर को उसकी खुद की इमेज भी बैकग्राउंड में सेट करने की सुविधा दे रही है। इसे चरणबद्ध तरीके से डेस्कटॉप यूजर्स के लिए रोल आउट किया जा रहा है। यह फीचर जूम और स्काइप में पहले से ही मौजूद है।

मोबाइल ऐप यूजर्स को कुछ समय बाद मिल सकती है सुविधा

• गूगल ने एक ब्लॉग पोस्ट में नई सुविधा की घोषणा की। सर्च दिग्गज ने कहा कि कस्टम बैकग्राउंड फीचर क्रोमओएस और विंडोज और मैक डेस्कटॉप डिवाइस पर क्रोम ब्राउजर पर काम करेगा।
• काम करने के लिए यूजर को किसी एक्सटेंशन या किसी अतिरिक्त सॉफ्टवेयर की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी। गूगल मीट मोबाइल ऐप यूजर्स को कुछ समय बाद यह सुविधा मिलने की उम्मीद है। गूगल ने कहा कि इस सुविधा को देखने के लिए एलिजिबल डिवाइस में सात दिन तक का समय लग सकता है।
• कस्टम बैकग्राउंड फीचर गूगल मीट एसेंशियल, बिजनेस स्टार्टर, बिजनेस स्टैंडर्ड, बिजनेस प्लस, इंटरप्राइस एसेंशियल, इंटरप्राइज स्टैंडर्ड, इंटरप्राइज प्लस, इंटरप्राइज फोर एजुकेशन और नॉन-प्रॉफिट कस्टमर्स और पर्सनल गूगल अकाउंट यूजर्स के लिए रोल आउट किया जा रहा है।
• इसके अलावा खुद की इमेज को बैकग्राउंड पर अपलोड करने की सुविधा एजुकेशन कस्टमर्स द्वारा आयोजित की जा रही मीटिंग के प्रतिभागियों के लिए उपलब्ध नहीं होगी।
• बैकग्राउंड चेंजिंग फीचर बाय-डिफॉल्ट बंद रहेगा, यूजर आवश्यकता अनुसार इसका उपयोग कर सकेंगे। हालांकि, गूगल ने यह भी बताया कि बैकग्राउंड बदलने से आपका डिवाइस धीमा हो सकता है।

गूगल मीट (डेस्कटॉप) में बैकग्राउंड कैसे बदलें
विंडोज और मैक डिवाइस पर गूगल मीट में अपना बैकग्राउंड बदलने के लिए, इन स्टेप्स को फॉलो करें:
1. यदि आप वीडियो कॉल से पहले बैकग्राउंड बदलना चाहते हैं, तो गूगल मीट पर जाएं> मीटिंग चुनें> बैकग्राउंड बदलें। आप उसके बाद मीटिंग में शामिल हो सकते हैं।
2. वीडियो कॉल के दौरान बैकग्राउंड को बदलने के लिए, नीचे दाएं कोने पर स्थित More ऑप्शन (तीन बिंदु) पर क्लिक करें और फिर बैकग्राउंड चेंज पर क्लिक करें। गूगल ने बताया कि जब आप इस ऑप्शन को चुनते हैं तो आपका कैमरा अपने आप ऑन हो जाएगा।
3. प्री-अपलोडेड बैकग्राउंड को सिलेक्ट करने के लिए, लिस्टेड ऑप्शन में से किसी एक को चुने सकते हैं। बैकग्राउंड पर खुद का फोटो लगाने के लिए Add पर क्लिक करें।
